The emmi Tartar Remover is a practical tool for targeted additions to your dog’s dental care routine – especially for heavier buildup and stubborn deposits on the teeth. Important: This attachment does not transmit ultrasound and does not move mechanically (no vibrating or rotating). It is used manually, with controlled, gentle abrasion.

How to use it on your pet
For the best routine, combine gentle ultrasonic dental care with the manual attachment:
- First brush your pet’s teeth with emmi-pet: Brush your pet’s teeth with the emmi-pet. Hold the ultrasonic toothbrush against each tooth for at least 10 seconds per tooth (longer if you like) – without scrubbing.
- Then use the Tartar Remover: Next, use the emmi-pet Tartar Remover to carefully push away or remove deposits loosened or partially loosened by the ultrasound.
- Be gentle: Use light pressure and short movements. With your pet, it’s better to work regularly and gently than to do too much at once.
Important instructions for safe use
- Do not apply heavy pressure: excessive friction can damage tooth enamel
- For stubborn deposits: it is preferable to increase cleaning time as needed with emmi-pet devices using 100% original ultrasound, rather than rubbing too hard mechanically
- If you are unsure (e.g., sensitive gums, bleeding, severe pain), please consult a veterinarian
